Hi, I´m Georgia
A designer and animator based on Trondheim Norway
A bit about me
I was born in England, grew up in France and now I live in Norway.
Before studying graphic design I studied Film, worked briefly in broadcasting, then language tutoring, language teaching and specialised education. Recently I have worked in the hospitality industry while studying part time and working.
I am fluent in English, French and Norwegian.
In my free time I like to explore the forests of Norway and pick mushrooms.
I also design knitting and crochet patterns which I sell online on etsy TheYarnDeer.
How I got started designing
Throughout my life I have enjoyed illustrating and creating things, but it has only been in the past couple of years where I have decided to focus my efforts into designing as a full time career. In my adolescence I made stop motion animations.
In 2020 I bought myself a drawing tablet and taught myself to animate short films and illustrate using different softwares. This led to me participating in illustration competitions and art challenges (inktober).
I also began designing cards which I would send to family and friends.
After my father´s death in 2023 I decided to take my interests in illustration more seriously.
In 2024 I took an introduction course in graphic design with the University of the Arts London where I was introduced to key fundamentals of graphic design where I worked on a project based on the theme of “grief”. This was a very positive experience and led me to deciding to focus on studying graphic design.
Later that year I began my graphic design studies with Noroff which I have greatly enjoyed, and have taught me so much.

How to describe my style
I work across a variety of different mediums, animation, collages and illustrations.
My style ranges from hyperrealistic to rustic and satirical in nature.
I believe that designs should delight, educate and entertain. I enjoy illustrating people and telling stories.
My goals for the future
I would like to make a career for myself as a graphic designer, and work in a company where I may further develop my skills.
My short term goal is to improve my 3D modelling and animation skills and refine my style.
I also plan on continuing to work on collaborations and small projects, as well as participate in competitions such as the Rookie awards.
